Just ordered CE7 with package #2 (AGAT). The price is $22,300 + tax + doc fee + tag fee. Will have to wait for a couple of weeks. The buying experience is pleasant. Walked into the dealership, offered the price, waited, insisted that it was the final price, and deal. Can't wait to see this new baby!

We bought our Sienna from Central City Toyota in Philadelphia. It was a great purchase experience - found car on their web site and was given a e-mail quote almost instantly. They gave very fair price for our trade. The purchase transaction went off without hitch - car was super clean and paperwork ready when I arrived - sign and drive - out in less then hour!!!
The location and age of their showroom may not be greatest - but they were wonderful to deal with.

Maintenance Plan by weedshasta

Thanks for the info, porcaccio #3880. I checked under Maintenance on Edmunds. It looks like the larger service milestones are at 30,000, 60,000, and 90,000. The rest at 5,000 mile intervals are under $100 each - mostly just oil changes and labor for inspection of other areas. Edmunds estimated cost for through 15,000 miles is $290 and the plan you quote is $249. Edmunds estimated cost for through 30,000 miles is $661 and the plan you quote is $349. Edmunds estimated cost for through 55,000 miles is $1122 and the plan you quote is $630. So it looks like the longer the plan you get the better deal you are getting. Does anyone have any comments about these maintenance plans? I know you could get the oil changes at quick lube places and then have the 30,000/60,000/90,000 check ups at the dealer and save some money. But I guess the advantage of going to the dealer while you are under warranty is that they can take care of any potential problems they may spot. Also with a maintenance plan you are locking in the price today. And I am assuming that no matter where you buy a maintenance plan, it is honored at every Toyota dealship?
Another thing is that I only drive about 10,000mi/yr. So if the 55,000 mile plan is capped at 4 years, in that time I will have only gone about 40,000 miles. My cost would have been $840 so not quite as good a deal but still OK. Any thoughts?

Make the drive up the PA Turnpike to Motorworld in Wilkes Barre, PA. I just bout an LE7 with BW, N1, RB and WH from them last week. I contacted every dealer in the Philly area and Motorworld beat the best price I got by about $1000.

Weedshatta, I misspoke. In looking at recommended service intervals, there are oil changes at every 5K miles. However, there is a first intermediate inspection at 15K miles which costs $249 (confirmed with the service department). There is also a major inspection at 30K miles which costs $349. That is where my costs broke down. Then, if I include 9 oil changes (11 in 55K minus the 2 that fall during the inspections), even at 30 bucks a pop, we are looking at another $270. That easily puts us over the $630 that we paid for full maintenance.

It is the Toyota Maintenance plan, and is honored at all dealerships can't wait to use it at the dealership that sold me our Sienna.

Sienna LE FWD Pkg #7 Ordered by lars10

I just ordered an LE w/ Pkg #7 (curtain airbags, VSC+TRAC, rear disc brakes,de-icer,daytime running lights) and pref accessory (cargo nets, mats) for $26,328, basically $750> invoice - this includes the $850 "TDA", which the salesman broke down as roughly $519 destination + $330 Toyota dealer marketing (or something like that). If I add the extra TDA charge the Edmunds TMV would be $28,200 (just a few hundred $ under MSRP). CarDirect guaranteed price was $26,342 which I used in the nego - basically they gave me the CarsDirect price.
The board was helpful, especially linking me to CarsDirect and having seen an explanation of Toyota's "TDA" or addl. destination charge.
Dealership was Butler Toyota in Indianapolis.
  Thanks!

Extended warranty questions by devsienna

I'm wondering if an extended warranty is warranted in our case. We typically drive 25,000 miles or more in one year. This means that within less than 18 months, our basic warranty will be up. I've looked at the extended warranties that Toyota offers, but the max milleage caps out at 100K miles, which would be about 3 to 4 years in our case.

Given the amount of miles we drive, I suppose I should be less focused on how many years of protection we get, especially since it's the milleage that's important, not so much the years.

I'm also tempted to get the pre-paid maintenance plan as well, but it's kinda hard to swallow the up-front cost right now.

We've had the car 5 weeks now, and have put over 6,000 miles on it. I had it in last week for it's first oil change and tire-rotation.
