does toyota have a site that descibes what they cover? and what they don't, and also when you can buy it. it seems it's another vague region the dealer can use lack of info to milk you. perhaps someone in the know can list the particulars thanks. i plan on getting a ltd with nav/dvd also i wish edmunds could email you when a response to your comment is made like at appleinsider.com |

Nothing like that is available (don't now if it's in any future plans), but meanwhile, check out Read Subscriptions and the Message Center if you don't use that already. Steve, Host |

Try this link to Toyota's website regarding their warranties. http://www.toyotafinancial.com/pyv/extended_service_coverage/n_in- dex.html |

Hi Everyone, I love this forum and thank everyone for posting such valuable information. I just gave $500 deposit for Sienna XLE with GJ and CF package, Phantom Gray color to a Connecticut dealer. To my surprise, while shopping around, I found that one should also pay attention to the invoice price. I found dealers charging 1000 to 2500 about invoice with the difference of 3000 between the lowest and the highest invoice price. I believe I got a good deal from this dealer. Invoice+dealer's profit is 32,400 plus 250 dealership fees. Is that really a good deal ? I have been given 6-10 weeks wait time as Toyota does not manufacture XLE with GJ package - this will be a special order. Typically how much time does it take in case of such special orders ? Any information will be appreciated. Thanks. |

Is there a way to verify a vin # on a potential new vehicle. Calling around, found a dealer in another state working to find me a vehicle. Says he'll need a deposit as soon as he finds it in order to move the car to him and for me to pick it up. He says he'll give me the vin # but what can I do to verify its the vehicle he says before driving the whole way there?? Can I call Toyota? |

Just a quick question for anyone out there...is there a way for a dealership to prove that they have ordered the van for you? Long story short, we have been working with a dealer for 4 weeks now trying to get a 8 passenger LE, package #4. First, he was going to try to locate the car but no luck so we were under the impression that he had ordered the van. My husband talked with the salesman a couple of times this week and he keeps giving us different stories. I don't believe he has ordered it and I want to demand our deposit back unless he has ordered it and go elsewhere. Just want to make sure he has really ordered before we continue working with him. Also, if anyone has any good experiences with dealers in the Northeast Ohio area, please let me know!!!! Thanks! |

You said - I paid 35,414 out the door. The only other costs are sales tax and license. This was in the south west and sale was completed at the end of February. ---------------- I have the exact vehicle sitting in my garage right now. On a 'extended' test drive - must return it tomorrow by noon. your out the door price caught my eye.. I am in Phoenix, and my dealer is in the huge 'autoplex' in a neighboring town. where in the southwest did you buy, and do you love your XLE LTD ? Also, this dealer said what was on the lot is what you get. he couldn't even order one. This vehicle is the Green Pearl, which I could live with, but I would really 'prefer' the smoke gray. Is this dealer full of it ? regards, nickles ....... '04 Quest SE defector |
