Great deal in PA by mikelamb

I am in the Philadelphia area and was able to get LE 7-pass with BW package and wireless headphones (MSRP $27,777) for $25,190 + tax and tags. I've been on this board for months now, and have found it invaluable, as I purchased from Motorworld in Wilkes-Barre and never would have heard of them if not for this board. Anyway, I sent a bunch of emails requesting prices and this was Motorworld's 2nd offer (1st offer was $25,690). All of the local dealers couldn't even come close, and one even told me I shouldn't pass this deal up if I could get it. I took a little bit of a hit on the trade, but I still think my out the door price was good and I love the van!

A magazine reporter is looking to interview automotive technophiles who have DVD players, MP3 players, satellite radio and/or surround systems in their cars and cannot wait for the next big thing to come so they can add it to their rolling entertainment centers.
Please respond no later than Wednesday, February 4 to jfallonedmunds.com with your daytime contact info, make/model of vehicle and a sense of the entertainment technology you have and aspire to own.
Thanks!

A friend of mine has another friend who works for Toyota. He volunteered to call the friend in hopes to get me a deal from a local dealer in Jacksonville, FL. Here is the "deal"

2004 Sienna XLE Limited with HE and gold package in Arctic Frost.

MSRP 36839
Discount -1000
             35839
gold package +150
             35989

Fl solid waste fee +6.50
Delivery and Documentation Fee +399.50
                  36395
Sales Tax 6% +2183.70
county tax +50.00
tag, title, & fee +40.00

Grand total 38668.70

I will probably go with Autofair. They are checking on the same car for $250 over invoice and $121 application fee. Note that Autofair originally said $100 over invoice in email then when I called them they said price has raised to $250 over invoice....wish me luck

Did you see my post re: Autofair? I don't know what the HE package is but I just ordered that same color vehicle and I'm in Florida. If you tell them (the dealership in Jax) the price you got at Autofair, they will tell you it's not real and jump all over it...and you should!!!

NorCal Dealers Flush with Inventory by anduril

Several weeks ago I visited my Sacramento dealership for an oil change. At the time the store had 20 Siennas in inventory. Yesterday it had 28, more than 3x what it had in late Nov. when I made my purchase.

Two other Sacto dealers each have 24-30 in inventory, including a number of XLE Lim's. (One now has 12 of those!)

One Bay Area dealer between SF and San Jose has an inventory of 46 (yes, 46)! Other dealers in the area are likely also flush.

So, excellent deals should be for the asking, even on vehicles that roll off a delivery truck today. The "turn rate", an essentially meaningless term anyway, is even more irrelevant now.

If I were buying today, I'd work my deal very, very close to invoice. See my post #3030.

Hurry up and order from Autofair! They WILL give you whatever their price is at the time you give them a deposit. By the time my van came in, (2 mos after ordering) the price had gone up 800.00. They have a completely different philosophy...no sales manager for the sales person to get approval from & no finance guys. Their sales people get paid strictly by number of vehicles sold. Since I picked up my van, I've seen several siennas in my town with the NH temp plate/autofair's plate frame.

Good Luck

Prices to drop by andrewtran71

.....after the new Ody comes out this Fall.
The Ody may attract a lot of buyers from the Sienna, and this may drop the prices dramatically.
In OKC, only one dealer has an XLE Limited, and he said he would not give any discounts on the Limited, and only $1,000 off on the XLE due to supply and demands.

I basically told him he can keep his supply and I'll hang on to my demands for now until the new Ody comes out this Fall.
