Davenow, I purchased mine from www.eddiewigginstoyota.com in warner robins, ga. if you are in the atlanta area, its about 120 miles south. and yes, i got my salsa red 2004 sienna XLE Limited, with GW ( #2 ) + dealer installed rear spoiler ( $399 ) + Toyogaurd plus ( $699 ) for an out the door price of ~$35800 on december 20, 2003. The van had 11 miles on it when i got it and was on the lot for about 3 weeks. I first came to know about this dealership only from this discussion board. if you search for bkb2003 on this discussion board you will find my earlier messages with more details on it. Also, when i first got a quote from eddiewiggins, i tried to ask my local dealer Atlanta toyota to match it. They would not match it so i went ahead and go the van from eddie wiggins. 2 days later, atlanta toyota called me back and said they will match it but it was too late. If you do not feel like travelling 120 miles, you can still negotiate with your local dealer. I know it will work. Best of luck in your search. |

| Thanks for the info bkb2003! I'm very happy for you, it seems as though you got a great deal. I'm in the northeast, and i prefer to purchase one here. From all my dealing's this far, i'm now entertaining the thought of possibly waiting for the 05 models to appear before swinging my deal. First all the high prices here on LTDs are frustrating me. i have the luxury of waiting 6-9 more months for a car, and i have renewed interest in the 05 Honda ODy. | |

Dealer names are ok to post. If you don't mind being contacted off the boards, you need to mark your email public in your profile via the Update Profile link on the upper left. Congrats on the new ride! Steve, Host |

| I also bought from Darcars, they charge a processing fee of $100 (or $99). No other fees. With regards to state tax, check with your state motor vehicle administration for exact details since it is likely to be different. You don't have to pay local sales tax if you are from out of state, however, it might be advantageous in some cases (such as if you pay 5% in MD, you don't have to pay the 8% in another state). | |
| I just spent a day with a Toyota salesman trying to get a FWD Sienna LE after reading an AD of $2000-off MSRP on that particular model. Not surprisingly, they were sold-out when i got there so he tried to sell me an AWD LE for $1000-off MSRP. Unfortunately, I don't know much about the technical stuffs that he's mentioning so I declined, he proposed to reduce it even more to $1,500-off saying that it's the lowest price i can find in the NJ area. Should i bite and is the AWD model really worth the extra $? | |

Thanks Steve. I've made my email public. Davenow, have you checked autofair.com? They are in Manchester, NH. Out of frustration of not being able to the the configuration we wanted for a decent price locally, I got in touch with them (I have relative there, thinking of flying over and driving back if the price is right), and was able to get a discount of almost $2900 off MSRP for an XLE w/ pkg#12&CF, albeit with a 4-5 weeks lead time. Decided to go with an Indiana dealer for less saving but also less logistic hassle. Last time I checked, Darcars in Maryland advertizes their sale prices without listing the $540 freight charge, even though their MSRP listings include it, creating a false impression for an otherwise smaller discount off the sticker. |

Toyota.com offers a PDF file electronic brochure for the Sienna, by carefully reading the features to see which ones come standard one can create the list I posted. I am sure one could also find it by reviewing another auto purchasing Consumer Guide. I don't have the AWD, but my understanding is that it is fulltime and can not be switched off for gas savings. DAR Cars did that when we purchased....offering $3500 off MSRP but adding back in the $540 freight, effectively reducing the discount to $2960. I wish they would handle it differently, but is seems to be a habit of dealers to compare discounted prices without freight to Sticker prices that include freight. |

| I received my Sienna (xle fwd gh cf) this week and highly recommend them! Find their website, look what they have listed and THAT is your price...you can change the color. The savings depend on how easy or difficult it is for them to get a particular model/package. The Manchester Airport is 10 minutes (if that) down the road. Lots of shopping in the area too, tax free. | |
