| I was told by dealership in Northern NJ that I may have to wait up to 4 months for XLE Limited Opt. # 6 (all at MSRP). Does this seem reasonable? | |

Congratulations on your new van! Value is in the eye of the beholder. : ) Mackabee |

| I sent e-mails from the Toyota web site to 5 different dealers in my area yesterday and none of them sent a reply today! I'm suprised. I've never purchased a Toyota before, but I expected more from their dealers. Is this unusual? | |

We got our LE-8 w/pkg #4 in Salsa Red Pearl - husband had to pick it up and pay for it but I prepared him to deal with the F&I guy & price agreed on about weeks ago was honored ($500 below MSRP, "administrative fee" of $395 waived - Costco deal). Tiny break in plastic below sliding door but they're ordering a replacement part, no big deal apparently. Relieved to report no bait/switch or problems in pick up and we only waited about 2 weeks. I haven't seen a red one yet and I had to pick that color sight unseen out of the inventory coming to the SE (would have gotten the Aspen green/fawn if possible) but it's pretty nice and not as common as the silver or beige. Marietta Toyota did a "dealer swap" to get the exact car with the package I wanted. Color was secondary priority. We really couldn't have afforded much more than pkg #4 (airbags very much priority) but I'm having pangs of longing for the DVD player...we have the rear audio thing on the ceiling with what looks to be a space for the DVD - is there any way to get a DVD player installed by Toyota now or is that only factory installed?? I'm out of luck, right? What a great car!!! We are marveling at the turning circle as compared to our Explorer! (We have a sharp turn to get into our garage). |

| First, Steve my humble apology for my earlier post using my name. I can now see where it could be interpretted wrongly. It will not happen again. Sylshop since you are in the area if you want to test drive a LE or CE eight seater Bailey Toyota on Confederation St., Sarnia, Ont. accross from Port Huron has both models on their lot. They have done business with lots of Americans and you can buy at under MRSP. | |
| Just got off the phone with Route 22 Toyota (Hillside, NJ). They are offering 500 off MSRP for all 2004 Siennas. There is a long wait though... | |

two weeks ago, bought a LE option#1 for $1000 off, and added leather for $1350. OTD $28,500. Took it on a 9 day trip through Oregon, and loved the van. Avg. 26.5 mpg, and the ride is smoother than anything I have driven. So smooth in fact that I got a speeding ticket doing 87! Wasn't even trying to speed, but looking at the scenery and the van got away from me. Power? how about 75 coming up the grapevine. Love the van. Excellent value. |

It depends. When you send an e-mail through toyota.com, it then goes into the particular dealers e-commerce mail box. From there it has to be downloaded through Dealer daily by someone in the dealership that has access to the e-com mail box, usually a Sales manager or General manager. Sometimes, depending on how big the store is or how busy they are, it will be days before these e-mails are downloaded. I just went through this with our district manager and the dealer daily people and our in-house IT techs to re-route these leads straight into my lead tracker, which in itself is a stand alone web based program. It took about a week to get all parties on the same page but now I'm getting these leads. Have you tried calling and asking for the Internet sales manager? : ) Mackabee |

| I was told that Sienna XLE Package # 14 was no longer being built and that 100% (based on August's TBO) of Sienna XLE (not limited edition) were being built with the "FR" or Package # 12. Is this dictated by the dealer's region or by the plant that is building these Sienna's? One dealer indicates that the can't order it and another dealer says that they can. I was on the Toyota website last week and I couldn't build a Sienna XLE with Package # 14 - today I try and Package # 14 is available. Who "in the know" knows for sure? Thanks. | |
