I have a bit of a different take on the new Sienna and "value." I am wondering about opinions on the "relative value" of an '04 Sienna v. '02 Oddy. I am looking at the Sienna LE with package 6 to get some of the same safety features that the Oddy already has (traction control and front side air bags). The Sienna will cost approximately $28,000. A used '02 Oddy with most of the same features and 20,000 miles will cost about $23,000. I plan to keep the van for 5-7 years. My priorities are safety and reliability. Is the new Sienna really worth $5,000 more than a used Oddy?? |

I was told by East Coast Toyota (Woodridge,NJ) that Toyota is no longer accepting custom orders of Siennas. I wanted an XLE with package 2 (moonroof only) but they said the list of packages in Sienna's catalog is outdated and showed me instead, a printed page that lists only 2 packages for XLE. So now I have to pay extra for stuff that I don't want (leather). Is this true that Toyota is no longer accepting custom orders? |

Ordering a 2004 Sienna is an adventure, and probably just as confusing for dealers as it is for customers. There are 97 different build combos for Sienna (before you add in color) Yes, you can order an XLE with just a moonroof. Your region of the country may not order them that way - but it can be done. You want the "CU" package (XLE package #2) Maybe it's just the salesperson that doesn't understand - ask to speak with a inventory manager or sales manager. If they won't work with you, I'm sure there are other dealers in your area that will. Good Luck !!! |

Could you please email me the dealer name and salespersons name or just post it on this board so others could benefit also as this would be very convenient as well for NY / NJ buyers. ABOUT CE PKG. # 3 I called 1-800-GO-TOYOTA and as per them you could order pkg. 3 in model CE even though it is not yet officially available in N.East Mkt. |

Dealer names/location are fine, but please, no promotion of individual salespeople on the boards. Thanks, Steve, Host |

I've never understood that one. : ) Mackabee |

We wind up with a bunch of salespeople inviting members to email them instead of hanging out participating and answering questions. Or a salesperson will imitate a member and shill for him/herself. I'll tell you the rest of the story.... someday, LOL. Steve, Host |

I just got my hands on the LE8 with #6...I have looked all over Southern CA and just found a Stratosphere Mica Blue one. I signed some paperwork stating I will pay and pick-up by the 31st. They wouldn't budge on MSRP! ok...after all was said and done we got out at $191 under MSRP....BIG DEAL. I need the van for my business so I really can't wait 4-8 weeks longer to get a deal. The positive side of it is I know I will love owning it and am really happy to have one waiting for me. K |

| Can anyone out there please let me know where I can find 1000 off msrp.. I am looking for a LE with package 4, and cannot seem to get anything off msrp... can someone please let meknow if they found a good deal near this area and who they worked with? Thanks!!! | |
