#11699 of 12158 2012 sienna XLE - what's a god price in the east bay area
Jan 26, 2012 (11:35 pm)
never bought a new car before, was wondering what i should expect as far as haggling price here in the east bay area/san fran, sacramento area.
WILL PAY CASH UPFRONT. want a 2012 toyota sienna XLE with premium package & entertainment package (navigation, blue tooth, DVD, rear camera, remote door entry, etc)
the MSRP at two different dealers are $39,250 and $40,750 (minor options make up for the price difference).
1)realistically, how much should i expect dealer to come off of the MSRP?
2)Or what should be my bottom line price (not including TTL) if i am paying cash or does cash make a difference?
any insight you all can provide will help me before i go in the dealership.

I got a 2012 XLE AWD with Navigation package in silver without any manufacturer rebate in Sept/2011 from SF Toyota Dealer. The MSRP for my van was $40160 and i got it for 36800; OTD price was 40356. There is a manufacture rebate of $750 and the price should be less if i were to buy now. You should call few dealers to get few quotes over the phone to get a sense of a fair price now.
Usually dealer is willing to go lower if you choose the finance option since they could earn interest from the loan.

I got mine from World Toyota in Chamblee. I got my SE and I like it. They actually gave me $1000 more on my trade-in than Atlanta Toyota would give me. Good luck!

Bought a 2012 Sienna XLE today out the door $32400. My TTL is 1800. Thus my price is 30600 including carpet which is $200. I did not do a trade in. There is $1000 rebate on the sienna.

That's great, what type of rebate, is it specific to the dealership?

#11708 of 12158 2012 Sienna AWD XLE vs. Limited
Feb 06, 2012 (1:55 pm)
Hi All - I am based in the San Francisco bay area and looking to purchase a 2012 AWD Sienna. I have narrowed it down to Limited and the XLE trims but wanted to see if any of you went through the XLE vs. Limited decision and what factors led you to one versus the other.
Also, on the Limited, is getting ~$4,000 below MSRP on a fully-loaded (MSRP $47,000) a good deal?
