I live in Madison and planning to lease Sienna for 36 months/ 12 k miles. LE V6 /8 seat(includes mats and security alarm dealer additions 400$ or so + 750 Doc fee)
Here is what I was offered ¡V Final price 290,098 - $ 750 (lease discount).
Monthly payment is 350 + 30 (tax)= $380
Residual factor after 3 yrs around 18,200. MF = 0.0010
3 years bumper to bumper guarantee. 2 years /25 k free maintenance, includes road side assistance.
Please let me know if it is good deal ? Or Is there still place for bargain , and how should I bargain ļ
There are only two Toyota dealers in Madison, both are giving the same price.
#11494 of 12254 limited with premium package

We purchased a Limited with premium package (so RSE and Nav) MSRP was ~$46,300 we were given 5,000 off of MSRP and the 0% for 36. (Zag was giving ~42.3k - with the 1000 rebate so no 0%).
Also we had a trade in and for that they gave us somewhat equal to what we could have gotten for it at carmax. Carmax would give 10,000 - dealer gave us 9,400 (but that gave us $600 in tax savings)
So all in all seemed a good deal. Purchased from Toyota of Dallas. I appreciated the information I was able to gleen from this forum.
#11495 of 12254 2012 Sienna??? Any information??
Sep 08, 2011 (6:18 pm)
I am about to pull the trigger on a 2011 Sienna LTD. I am trying to find out if there will be any changes to the 2012. I have heard some interior upgrades, adjustable pedals etc. DOES ANYONE KNOW? All dealers have the same answer. They claim not to know, yet they have info on every other 2012. I am willing to wait and pay a little more. Any Answers?

What kind of deal are you getting?
I have shopped around extensively, and the better deals are all about 3-4 hours away from me. So I have decided to wait for the 2012 since the price difference is negligible (probably $1K because no rebate on the 2012s).
The Texan who got $5K off the sticker compares to the best deals I have been offered. Nice job!

Found this on cars.com:
New for 2012
Changes are minor for the second model year of the current design. A power front passenger seat and automatic headlamps are new standard features for the XLE trim, and the optional rear-seat entertainment system for the SE is now packaged with a moonroof.

I have had a really frustrating run-around with Zag.com and Truecar.com. I get the quote and call the local dealers and they either say that truecar.com is wrong, they sold the vehical or the quote from truecar doesn't reflect all the options.
I then ask them to list what they have in inventory and immediately put all the information into the zag/truecar quote generator and it comes in several thousand under what they are telling me on the phone. This seems totally unethical.
Anyway - just curious what deals others have gotten on a 2011 XLE with entertainment and nav. What is a fair/good price?

Sep 14, 2011 (11:51 am)
One dealer said they are still ordering and getting 2011 till Dec rather than 2012. Does any dealer have a 2012? Seems like the 2011's are in low stock and asking prices are going up.
Auto sales in August was miserable but the news hasnt reached the dealers yet i guess.

I use Truecar to check price changes rather than using it as a negotiations tool. Truecar like many other sites is just a means that dealers use to get you to the lot. However, you can be firm and negotiate over email where you can stick to your negotiation items objectively. That's to a previous comment.
One SE dealer told me 2012 Sienna would be out mid September and if you do a Google search you can find one NJ dealer selling a 2012 Sienna. Also, many of the dealers that I have contacted over the last year have reved up their contacts with me so I think the 2012 might be around the corner.
Like someone had said previously, if you are going to buy a 2011 car, you should have the dealer consider the cost of having the car sit in the lot for the last year.
I also use CarMax to check inventory and their 2011 inventory hasn't changed much in over two months.

I was really considering buying a Honda Touring, but ran into the exact same thing (and now am leaning towards the Sienna).
SoCal pricing for these minivans seems to be a couple thousand more than the rest of the country. There seems to be lower inventory overall (one to two cars on the lot) at all dealers, and they are marking them up over the prices the rest of the country is paying. Not sure what can be done or when it will change.
