No I didn't, I'm in MD, plus I'm in search of 2013
model instead of 2014. I still have the van on hold.
#12246 of 12254 2 dealers sell 1 Sienna?
Oct 25, 2013 (2:26 pm)
I am shopping a 2013 Sienna XLE around Houston area. I communicated with 2 dealers, Star Toyota and Gullo Toyota, and accidentally I find out on their websites that they sell a vehicle with the same VIN#: 5TDYK3DC6DS402255. After I asked one dealer "who/which dealer actually holds it in stock?", he withdrawed and no more communication. Anyone have a similar experience? What's the reason? Thanks.

They may have pre-arranged a trade scenario. I wonder if it's the same owner for both dealerships?
#12248 of 12254 Chose a Toyota over a Honda

When looking at a Toyota vs. Honda, please be advised of the oil consumption issue that has led to a class action suit in October 2013 with details at http://settlement-claims.com/enginemisfire/. I have a 2010 Odyssey that consumed 3.85 quarts of oil through the dealership’s oil consumption test. Honda did a computer upgrade, but it still consumed 1.5 quarts in less than 4,000 miles. The official word from Honda was relayed to me 11/4/13 by a service manager at Classic Honda in Streetsboro, Ohio: Honda does not feel my issue warrants repairs at this time even though it has 53K miles and is still covered by the power train warranty. In other words, they indirectly told me to buy oil in bulk and deal with the issue myself. This settlement will reimburse customers for previous expenses and extend the power train warranty to 8 years, but they do not seem willing to actually fix the problem for me. Bottom line, this settlement proves to me that Honda was well aware of the issue with the 6 cylinder VCM engines for a long time, and now they do not feel the need to stand behind the product they sold me. I wish I had bought the Toyota. Buyers beware!

#12250 of 12254 2014 XLE FD Sienna price quote
Nov 15, 2013 (11:55 am)
I am at midwest and I got several quotes on 2014 XLE front wheel drive at around 32k plus tax and doc fee. I have not started the negotiation yet. Is this a good price? What is the reasonable price for this model? Anyone recently bought one?
#12251 of 12254 XLE with Navigation package
Dec 09, 2013 (7:18 pm)
I was in Alexandria Toyota (Jack Taylor Toyota) this weekend for a XLE with Navigation package, I walked out without the car, the offer was $34,850 OTD with 0%, 60 months and $500 bonus cash back for financing through Toyota Financial.
Then today I want to Lustine Toyota, they wanted $34,488 OTD for the same car, with the same 0%, 60 months and $500 bonus cash back for financing through Toyota Financial, I walked out without the car.
I prefer to buy it from Alexandria Toyota (Jack Taylor Toyota) if they have the color, and be at $34,488 price. I will try it again this weekend.

Lustine, ugh...Try Tony at Springfield Toyota; He's the used car manager, but a straight shooter...best $ in NOVA...have found better deals in MD, such as Silver Spring Toyota..the MD fees are less..by like $400..But Tonys prices were by far best in NOVA...

I had a great experience at Atlanta Toyota in Duluth, GA. It only took me 1 round of negotiating over the phone to get to the selling price. I shopped at 2 other dealers who couldn't come close.
Through last week, I had primarily shopped Odysseys but switched to Siennas because of a better perceived quality with the engine and transmission, despite my preference for the Odyssey interior and handling.
