Can anyone tell me how to change my address on the complaint, although, a $.37 stamp will probably put me further in the hole.

Go to warrantynews.com and scroll down to the bottom, I think that is the address change form. I think I will die of old age before I see a dime from this company.

They updated their homepage several days ago. In response to a question as to whether there was a list of approved claims, they stated:
"The short answer is no. This analysis requires the retention of a professional claims management firm to assist the Liquidation Trustee with this comprehensive review process. There have been approximately 18,000 written claims filed in this case. In addition, the Liquidating Trustee must analyze data involving approximately 50,000 warranty contracts to determine whether warranty holders who did not file claims are nevertheless entitled to a claim distribution.
Currently, the Trust does not have sufficient funds available to pay for this analysis. When such funds do become available, the Liquidating Trustee will engage an appropriate claims management firm to complete this review and analysis."
Given that type of answer, the previous posts have it correct - we'll probably not even see a cent on the dollar.

Warrantynews.com last updated their site on July 27, 2006! I find it hard to believe there have been no developments since then - what gives? Warrantynews.com - This is THE source for updated news and developments pertaining to Warranty Gold and NWIG liquidation.....Yea right!

They updated the site again last week (2-4-07). I would not consider the news promising as far as any of us recovering even a cent or two on the dollar.

What's going on??? Isn't it about time for an update??? It's obvious they're not going to pay anything, but the least they can do post updates! Surely there's been some developments since April, 2007.....
#1819 of 1842 Is there any hope?

I just got a post card in the mail from Warranty Gold Liquidation Trust stating the Plan Trustee is allowing my claim for the unused portion of my warranty that I had filed a claim for, in the amount of $708.13. However, they also filed a limited objection to this and if I do nothing, then the objection is upheld and I get nothing. I have to call and file an objection to this to have any hope, which I obviously will do.
Think there's any hope I'll see anything?
#1820 of 1842 Well, it's a glimmer of hope.

At least you received some sort of communication from them. Anybody else out there - has anybody else received something similar?

I received a postcard on 11/23/07 with an approved claim amount of approx 2/3d's of original claim (not bad). However, the Plan Trustee has filed a limited objection to my claim to adjust it to comply the court-approved settlement. To oppose the proposed adjustment, I am instructed to call the Class Counsel - I've called and left a message. We'll see what happens.........
