At least you received some sort of communication from them. Anybody else out there - has anybody else received something similar?

I received a postcard on 11/23/07 with an approved claim amount of approx 2/3d's of original claim (not bad). However, the Plan Trustee has filed a limited objection to my claim to adjust it to comply the court-approved settlement. To oppose the proposed adjustment, I am instructed to call the Class Counsel - I've called and left a message. We'll see what happens.........

you will get about 10% of the stated claim approval....per your post card example approved claim $780.00 = $78.00 no matter how you look at it we all will get screwed by warranty gold

The web-site currently has (on its home page) links to various filings that they have made to the Courts objecting to certain Refund and/or Vehicle Repair claims on one basis or another (my name doesn't appear on any of these). The same page also includes a link to a listing of approved Refund Claims (my name appears on this one) and the accompanying statement notes that the actual amount will be whatever fraction of that they have money for. So far there doesn't appear to be a similar listing for approved Vehicle Repair Claims (where I have a signficant amount claimed). In looking at all the material on the site, it still looks as if any of us that do have approved Refund and/or Vehicle Repair Claims will be lucky if we get anything or at most, a few cents on the dollar. Again, the lawyers and the accountants make money on this type of civil suit, not us.

Just found this site when doing some searching for information on the post card I received about the big refund. What a surprise............................10% on the dollar. I knew I should have gone to law school. The only good thing is, I had no claims pending and no claims after they closed the hood. Well maybe I'll live to see the 10% and then buy a happy meal. Thanks for all the information.

When you do diligence and consider the recommendations of a reliable source, and it still goes all to HE##, you then consider it a class in hard knocks. Everyone is responsible for their actions and decisions.
