#1 of 5 What sites are there? by yorstarlet

Jul 23, 2000 (3:29 am)

I am in the "just looking" stage for a muscle car.
Actually, I can't decide what I want =). I am
specifically looking for internet sites, with cars
for sale, that have pictures. I have seen the cars
at www.cars-on-line.com and am looking for ones
that are like that. Any suggestions???????

lesseee....there's

www.traderonline.com
www.classifieds2000.com
http://www.voicenet.com/~peterskm/

That should get you into other links as well...

I think you should study these cars carefully before you buy, because this market is very hot right now, and there are all kinds of fakes/counterfeit/unathentic cars out there, to say nothing of plenty of incorrect claims, data, etc. So educate yourself before you buy, and check out amazon.com for possible reference books for the type of car you are intersted in.

good luck in your search,

#3 of 5 Narrowing it down by yorstarlet

Jul 24, 2000 (8:23 pm)

I think I am narrowing down what I want. I am looking at a 70 Charger right now. Any things I should be on the lookout for? Do you know of any specifically good sites on this type of car. How to compare them, length, engine types?
Thanks for the previous help too!

You need to buy this book from Amazon.com:

Dodge and Plymouth Muscle Car Red Book by Peter Sessler, from Motorbooks International, price $12.95. It has all the data you need.

Check here for classifieds:

Heminet:
http://www.heminet.com/classindex_new.htm

Dallas Mopar web community:
http://www.insidetheweb.com/messageboard/mbs.cgi?acct=mbmb98056

Bob's Mopar muscle page:
http://users.erinet.com/30561/parts.htm

Hotrods worldwide:
http://www.hotrodsworldwide.com/mopar.htm

And the most important URL for Mopar people, the MOPAR webring:
http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=moparing;list;page=0,

from which you can pick one of its 577 links!

Bring a lot of time and even more chips and stuff... ...my wife would much rather close this webring down...

Enjoy
