Gas prices jumped 15 cents across the board since Saturday morning! Is that little pipsqueak in Iran shooting his mouth off again?

Sunoco at Rising Sun and Longshore in NE Philly:

RUG = $3.69
Plus = $3.79
Ultra = $3.95

West coast prices set to spike, just after local prices came down after another refinery issue. What a coincidence!

I bet the sun is going to come up today somewhere as well, and you know what that always does to oil prices

We jumped 13 cents here in central PA BEFORE the news of the refinery fire. Want to bet there was an INSTANT reaction at the pumps and I'm seeing even higher prices this morning??

Up to $4.29 for Chevron premium here now. I am so shocked that we have this new "crisis" just weeks after the previous crisis passed.

Have had to go to the south sound the past couple days, E55 is managing 22mpg in stop and go <40mph rush hour hell, not too bad for something of that size.

We seem to be matching your prices somewhat but our 87 octane is averaging $4.29, with premium averaging $4.45. My usual place is about a dime cheaper. AS with others, a lot of these price increases have been before each "crisis" occurred and the jumps were by 15 ~ 25 cents each time.

I'm just waiting for the next run-up, driven by the teleprompter-reading heads "$5 by Memorial Day"

We've recently seen the return of 10 cents more per gallon for credit. My former regular Sunoco has gone to this. I charge gas to get the cash back money. Darned if I'll pay that dime.

I can get $3.57 regular on the Parkway (Sunoco).

I fear when and what the next crisis will be, and how non-accidental we all know it will be. Pipeline issue, another down refinery, maybe a war by one our tail wags the dog "allies"...Prices aren't going to be lower again for long.

Speaking of discounts, there's a local station offering something like a 20 cent cash discount on either Saturday or Sunday. Seems steep.

Agree with you and fezo.

Fezo, we have the same thing at some of the stations in the city, credit is higher than cash.

Fintail, with you. You almost hate to watch the world news because something is always going to cause it to go up. Read a few days ago about Mexico refining less...

Sometimes hard to think it is all random coincidence, eh?

Around the UP, I'm seeing regular range from $3.78 to $4.09.
