Heh, don't think the fact that crude supplies rose to a 22-year high may be a factor too?
I don't know how much gas is here - the electronic sign at my usual station is burned out. Price must have fallen so fast it blew a fuse.

Took a little road trip to SW WA this morning, into the less developed world...average price is just over $4 for regular.
Not bad mileage earlier today:

$4.03 is the cheapest RUG I have seen. Most stations around me are still at $4.29

And I was surprised. Last I looked (10? days ago?), gas was $3.99.
Today it was $3.81, an eighteen cent drop.

We're sitting at $3.69 in most places, although there is a rogue Sunoco sitting at $3.93 for some odd reason. Even odder, you see people at the pumps there. Sort of makes you wonder what ELSE is going on there

Both our Shell and Mobil stations kicked up to $4.39 this last week. They got as low as $4.29. I got 3 gallons of diesel for my Kubota, $4.69 per. Premium was $4.55 and midgrade $4.49. Premium seems to be the best bargain these days.

and needed petrol for the truck. $3.70 for 87 octane at usual place. Funny, after driving the hybrid over there and come back here the truck felt to have a lot more power
- but then after a couple days power level returned to normal.

Prices leaking down to $3.63 here... and as an added bonus, ethanol has disappeared from a couple of stations and my mixed driving MPG has jumped from 30-31 up to 33-34.
The nasty stuff did finally manage to kill the gaskets on my one lawnmower though.
