$2.49 for RUG, biodiesel, and E85, your choice, at the local Shell station.   Never thought we'd get E85 in our neck of the woods, not that I can use it (or would want to) anyway.

this morning I filled up my '67 Catalina with 93 octane at the local Shell. $2.919 per gallon. Last time I filled it up was back in April, when gas was $2.299. So, those prices are shooting up.   But on a more positive note, I broke 10 mpg on that tank!

Replying to: steve_ (Jun 23, 2009 12:20 pm) $70 oil is a good price range to keep them looking and developing new fields. I am just glad it is not $4.60 per gallon as it was this time last year. I only have to save $5.50 to justify my trip to Costco instead of $9.20.

my '67 Catalina sets sail for Carlisle tomorrow morning! I have a mostly full tank, only about 50 miles since the last fill-up, but I still want to top off just before leaving, to get a feel for highway fuel economy. As of yesterday, prices were still holding at around $2.62 for 87 octane, and $2.92 for 93, at the Shell I plan on stopping at. Replies to this message: lemko (Jun 25, 2009 8:51 am)

Our 7-11 station is at 2.15 and others are around the same--maybe a few cents higher---all of a sudden---wham---the prices are going down---of course--given another week or so--they will be raised again---it never fails! I am thankful we have good prices here anyway on an average.
