RUG is at $2.45-$2.49.
Still trying figure out why gas is going up since demand is steady and supply is up.

Shell in Seabrook, MD...

filled up my '76 LeMans with 93 octane for $2.679 per gallon. Prices are definitely creeping up, but looking in the car's mileage log, it showed how bad it could be. The last time I filled up the car was October last year, and that was $2.779 per gallon for 87 octane. So, things could be worse. And probably will be, before we know it.

With prices climbing like they are we have fallen into the situation once more where the prices on the Garden State Parkway are the cheapest around because they only change once a week and that is based on average prices for the last week. When teh spread gets big they start backing the line out onto the road. A coworker lost a car that way last summer.

Just filled the Sequoia at Shell in town. $2.75 for RUG. Diesel at that Shell station is $2.49 today. One Shell station we passed was $2.99 and 9/10ths. $3 gas is back in San Diego. Costco was too far out of the way. Not sure the price there. Probably $2.65 today.
This ought to help the recession along.

I would bet your Total Cost Per mile will be a heck of a lot less than any stinking hybrid. It pays to keep the old car running as LONG as possible. Especially with the newer cars designed to disintegrate in 7.25 years.
