| The predominate price in Salisbury is $1.799 a gallon for 87 octane, regular unleaded. Salisbury is the hub city of the Delmarva Peninsula, which is the state of Delaware, the Eastern Shore of Maryland and the Eastern Shore of Virginia. | |

by me. Filled up for $1.88 at the usual Jewel. Saw a Speedway at $1.82, which was strange because this station is usually at least 10 cents higher than everyone else. The Shell and BP by work is sitting at $1.87 for 87 octane. The Gas City is running at $1.95 the last I checked (wasn't able to see what E85 was selling for at this station). There is another station on my route that is also $1.82 for 87 octane but this fuel is really only fit for lawn mowers!! |

| After weeks of prices in the $1.70 and up range, they have dropped in large areas to $1.6X. I just paid $1.62 minus a 10 cent shopper discount. I'm waiting for the "restoration" to jump back up to $1.98. After all, the sun is shining today and it's above 32 again, so that's a good reason to raise prices, in Ohio at least. Not that I'm cynical about the jumping jack prices we usually get. | |

Here in upstate NY RUG jumped 8 cents overnight from $1.97 to $2.05. Wholesale gas jumped from a $1.04 to $1.30 this week. What's going on? Did a toilet overflow at a refinery somewhere and disrupt production? |

Recently a man in Richland WA pumped what he thought was $28 worth of gas at a self-service station and paid for it with his debit card. When he got home he had a message from the card company that he had overdrawn his debit card by 81 BILLION Dollars for the purchase. Washington state must have raised the gas tax way up to force people to conserve. |

Not sure what move prices are going to make but things are jumpy. The station I usually fill up at is still holding at $1.97, but a lot of other places are at $1.99. I paid $1.93 this morning at one place and saw $1.95 at another. Usually all these place are inlock step so there appears to be some confusion and uncertainty out there.
