paid $1.759 for 93 octane at the Shell. I was able to fill my '79 5th Ave up, from sucking fumes to a full tank, for $34.50. Just for comparison, 5 months ago, when I got back from the Mopar show in Carlisle, I had a $73.91 fill up with that car at $4.319 per gallon...and that was for less gas! 17.1 gallons versus 19.6 today. |

| (or should I say Slip-n-Slide to work) showed prices retreated back to the $1.66 range. Not sure if they're going to go back up for the New Years. | |

I can hear the politicians licking their lips trying to figure ways to get it back to $3 with taxes so that we "conserve". |

Phoenix down to $1.35 And the new 1.4 BILLION DOLLAR light rail system just opened. At only 43 million dollars a mile, it was a BARGAIN ! Bad timing I guess...............
