in Willcox, AZ. Lowest price in town is $1.94/gal for RUG, this price can be had at 4 different Willcox gas stations. I'm gonna quit calling it ghastly if these prices keep dropping. I really never thought we'd drop below $2.00/gal ever again. This is truly a phenomenon going on here. Let's still keep preparing to buy our 2010 Pininfarina-Bollore B-Zero's. Ya never know if gas prices will sharply rise again. The B-Zero gets 153 miles per charge and only takes 5 hours to charge up. It's an Italian-French micro-car being developed with what looks to be the smartest (LMP) battery technology designed yet. They (Bollore of France) have spent the last 15 years developing this technology and on the LeBlue test car the batteries have gone 125,000 klm's and needed no maintenance, nor have they had any problems with them operating properly. Bollore is not going to separately lease the batteries, it has just been discovered, too, so the B0 can be bought as a complete package, batteries and all. As you can tell, I'm not excited about this new all-electric automobile at all.

I live in Bakersfield Ca.,and gas today is at 1.85 per gal, and goes up to max 1.99 depending on what station you want. I never thought it would cost only 45.00 dollars to fill my Dodge Ram up.

Was able to fill-up at the Shell in Oswego for $1.90 on Friday. This morning at my usual place petrol was $1.85 for 87 octane. Checking my records haven't purchased fuel that low in price since 13-Oct-06. Yes, over 2 years ago!!

My wallet thanks these lower prices and fortunately my right foot has become light again (was getting a little heavy when fuel was in the mid-$2.50 range).

That don't leave much for the oil companies, refiners and gas stations.

Where's the media at with that? For the last couple of years all we heard about was record profits for oil companies. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, we hear nothing about how much money the oil companies have lost. Poor oil companies.

$1.64 in Louisville.... RUG!

We also don't hear about price reductions due to lower fuel costs. Remember when everyone raised prices because of fuel costs? Now we're on the other end--no price reductions. Guess where the extra profit is going?

Re oil companies not making huge dollar amounts but probably still making same percentage profits. It doesn't suit media's purpose to impeach on administration, therefore we won't hear. Note GE owns NBC and all the variations--lots of media.

Well, this isn't a huge drop, but I used to pay $4.49 for a gallon of chocolate milk at the local Giant. Sometimes it would go on sale for $3.99. They also run a special on milk, where after you've purchased 6 gallons (doesn't have to all be at once, obviously) you get a coupon for a free gallon.

Anyway, yesterday the regular, non-sale price had dropped to $4.25 for a gallon. So, a 5% drop. Not huge, but I'll take it. Now the interesting thing will be to see if it still goes on sale as often. And if they keep running the 7th gallon free special.

As for gas prices, I just checked online at Marylandgasprices.com, and see that the Shell in Laurel, where I paid $1.879 last Tuesday, is down to $1.719 today. I'm driving my '79 5th Ave today, and might run up there on my lunch break. But, I'm still around half a tank, and by the time that car needs gas it might be even cheaper!
