Went to the Eastern Shore of Virginia last week, and 87 was typically $3.95, but a few places including the Valero where I filled up were $3.85 (this was a week ago Sunday). On the way back home, almost everyone was up to $3.95 or a little higher, crossing the $4 mark in Virginia Beach.   I managed to make it home without adding any more gas. Put in a new high of $61.00 in my '05 Camry at $3.91 at the local Kangaroo (central VA). Replies to this message: fezo (Jun 16, 2008 11:33 am)

Replying to: 210delray (Jun 15, 2008 6:31 pm) Well, here in one of those pockets of resistance I saw my first $4 RUG. For quite a bit it looked like no one wanted to be the first to break the barrier but now it's happened. I expect everyone else to follow suit.

Replying to: british_rover (Jun 16, 2008 12:44 pm) Most places diesel is still higher than regular and about on a par with Premium. The point being most diesel vehicles get 30% better mileage making it still a better deal if you are fortunate enough to own a diesel vehicle.

Sunoco at Rhawn and Verree in NE Philly:   Regular = $4.099 Silver = $4.199 Premium = $4.299 Ultra = $4.399   Up two cents across the board since Sunday.

Cochise County, Arizona, the town of Willcox to be exact, we're paying $3.71/gal for 87-unleaded. That is at Doc's and Mustang.
