Is that the bronze-looking color? Saw one of those last year, but thought it looked too much like rust. Definitely unique, though.

rust? the Special Edition for 2000 and 2001 was one color. sort of a reddish purple in 2000, can't remember last year's offhand...

this year they get two colors and one of them is a bright yellow.

if you're thinking of a rust color was that evolution orange? that was an LS color.

Maybe this wasn't an SE. Evo Orange sounds familiar.

That isn't going to help those of us who take offense at the Miata being mentioned in the "Chick Car" discussions!

Does anyone know if a Miata can be towed flat behind a motorhome? Have the motorhome and would love to get a Miata for a tow vehicle.

You can't safely flat tow a Miata. The tranny won't get propper lubrication & it'll fry. I guess it would be possible to tow one a short distance without hurting it though.

I've seen a lot of stuff that isn't safe to tow rolling behind a motorhome.

The "best" was a previous generation Escalade behind a turbo diesel 40' home. Obviously, the owner has enough money to replace the drivetrain bits when they fail prematurely...

Do you have to drain the coolant from the engine in order to replace the heater and heater bypass hoses on a 1992 Miata? How much coolant will flood out when I pull the old hoses off?
Also, I bought front brake pads from Mazda that I will have installed. Do I have to have the rotors resurfaced if everything is presently working very smoothly? I'm reluctant to "sand off" perfectly good rotor material if I don"t need to.
